All thanks to Mr Christopher Ho, and he seriously pissed
me off to an extend whereby i can't wait to chop him into hundred thousand
million zillion pieces. He simply enjoy giving me silly problems
at the wrong timing as always.
You might not know what happened on the first day of departure from Singapore. 15 min before we were about to set off to the airport, he told me that he lost his wallet.
What sort of freaking news was that huh?
I was damn pissed off and he later found it under his own clothes, yet he claimed that he did not do so. Fine, so he obviously hinting me that either i'm the one who misplaced his wallet or his wallet ran away on it's own.
Let me till you this, the first option is definitely out of topic.
WHY?
That's because i was having a meet up session with my lover outside (Ong Lai Yan). I only returned at the very last minute.
FUMES... FUMES... FUMES... FUMES... FUMES...
Back to the main problem for the day.
We woke up rather late since we've been playing Jackpot for days. I set my alarm at 6.30 but no one woke up till 7.30. The paperwork and timings weren't with me at all. They were safely kept by Christopher. I was brushing my teeth with he suddenly shouted:
"Hey quick, the bus goes off at 8.10am"
First thing which came to my mind:
What kinda god damn thing, you last minute then tell me this fucking good news.
FUMES... FUMES... FUMES... FUMES... FUMES...
He then say he thought it's going to leave at 9.10am since most of the time we were leaving at that timing.
"Yalor, you think ma, i also think ma..."
"You think, i thought, who confirm?"
I'm in such a great rush that i didn't even bother to blow my hair dry. It's so ridiculous man and i even skipped my breakfast.
Rushed all the way down and we realised that we waited at the wrong place again.
Whose fault was that again?
That Christopher lo.
Our hotel has got 2 waiting area, he didn't even bother to check before waiting. Luckily the person in-charge came to fetch us with his personal car. Thank Goodness, we did not missed the fun otherwise, he wouldn't be able to return in one whole piece on the 7th June 09.
Oooh hoo, mangage to board the ship on time and i shall let him off temporary.
I can't guarantee what i gonna do to him when night falls.
Beating is a must.
Hitting is a need.
-winks- Do you think i'll do be so kind to let him off for his silly act? Grrrrrrh...
Anyway, i took a picture of that(above).
Well, i guess you guys might have know how cheap it is to rent a cheapest car In Australia. It's really damn cheap, perhaps you can consider booking an apartment instead of a hotel over here.
Oh by the way, there are more apartments than hotel over here. Hotel aren't that commonly seen in this area. If you have done a research, you would have realise apartment is much more cheaper. Instead of getting just a room, you will be having 2 rooms, kitchen and a living room.
Alright, alright, let's get back to the main topic.
We board our ship finally...
It's really very sunny over here that i could hardly opened up my eyes. I did mention before the sky is more blueish over here. Scroll down for more pictures and you will see why i'm telling you so.
Seriously, i don't think there's a need to make comparison between, Bangkok, Taiwan or HongKong, since they belongs to South East Asia. I don't see any differences between them since they were all under SEA. Australia is definitely out of SEA and look at the colour, it's really better. Scroll down to see more.
We decided to go for Parasailing next and i'm damn sure it's gonna be great.
Did you saw that speed boat below?
It's the speed boat which is going to pull us up in the air. Small but strong and not many people dares to go for parasailing. Only 6 people went for that activities. Coincidentally, we get to know a malay guy from Singapore as well.
The crew were all very friendly and really helped us out in fasterning our belts etc. We even chit chat about non-relevant topics. They are cool and i could see they really enjoy their jobs.
Should i say we're being fortunate or unfortunate?
We are the first to go up in the air.
The crew chose us to go up first. Well, i got to be in front since i'm the lightest.
WOW... WOW... WOW...
Look at that, we are preparing to fly off. Oh my goodness, i'm so small and tiny. It seems to look more like a father, carrying a daughter up in the sky.
Phui... Phui... Phui...
We got very nervous when we were about to leap off from the ground. It's damn exciting, the breeze was 10 times stronger when we were on top and i can't even be bother to care about maintaining my fringe.
Hey, hey, the parachute colour very chio right?
Take a look at the video.
Well, do you see the motor below?
That's right, it's the motor releasing us up in the air. If the motor were to be down, we wouldn't be able to come back anymore. The duration on top was rather long as the crew need to decide the pulling back timing by looking at the wind direction.
It's god damn shiok and i kept yelling out "Nooo... no.... i don't wanna go back"
Hahahaha...
We are back finally with super messy hair. Anyway, though we have made our way back, but the hair style still remains messy afterall since the wind is till strong over here.
My heart was still left upstairs man.
Our turn is over (",)
So sad...
Its time to wait for the others to get up.
That's one of the friendliest crew(below). He not only take picture for us, he video-ed a few parts as well. The best part about him was that, we did not even seek help from him and he volunteer to help us.
What a nice crew!!!
On our way to the island, we passed by many bungalows etc. The crew told us that these were owned by millionaire or billionare. Each of them has got their own small jetty, or even place for helicopters to land.
Most of them has got their own yatch over here.
Look at the picture right above, that's the house of a billionare. Picture may look small, but it's really big. Just imagined that the owner owns a helicopter and a yatch plus a speedboat. It's a great enjoyment out there.
It's fun to be on the ship. Chris just made friends with a family and we had been chit chatting for the past 1 hr journey. A gew ang-moh grannies keep making fun out of us, daring us to try out the jetboat.
Nah, not interested by that. We already tried the speedboat and there's not much differences. Furthermore i did not bring extra clothings and seriously don't wish to get myself wet at all.
They would serve us cakes, biscuits, cookies and even hot drinks on the ship. I guess a cup of hot coffee shall be warm enough for the day.
Oh ho, look at that. That's the seaplane, isn't it damn cool.
Nah, the pilot aren't any old uncle. He's a young man and he's damn cool to own a plane. He even got a house in the mid sea. It must be damn expensive but i guess he's earning alot.
Just imagine a ride in his plane is 95 bucks per person ( 10 min ), he could only take 4 person up each time.
1 trip = 95 x 4 = 380 bucks
2 trip = 760 bucks
3 trip = 1140 bucks
He usually went for approx 4 trips i guess which mean he's earning 1500 bucks (AUD) per day. Oh gosh, just imagine that he flew only on weekday which is 20 days in a month, he would be earning 30000 bucks per month ( min ).
Wow, my maths seems to be getting better each day.
Next, we went for the 4 wheel drives through and they gonna bring everyone for sand surfing which is going to be damn cool.
Along the way, you gonna see route(above pic), it's common to see wild little animals running all about. Nah, they are lively and happy animals especially the kangaroos over here. There aren't any foxes or predator here to cause harm to them at all. It's really a nice enviroment for them to live in.
See pictures for more.
Look at their sand,
It's not any big rocks or small mountain by the side. It's really sand, and i should say it's a thick layer of sand.
Look at their waves, it's really beautiful and their beach is very clean. You hardly see branches along their shore. I really love their shore, it's so spacious whereby you can simply run around.
Look at their sea shell, it's my palm size.
Anyway, we are not supposed to brought them back as they are protected by the government.
That's not my idea...
Hey hey, that's Chris's new friend named Kangi. He had been chasing the Kangi(s) over there whenever i'm in to toilet taking my own sweet time. I'm always surprised when i saw him chasing them around.
That's where i gonna had my meal and i seriously hate to eat with lizards. But i can't do anything about it since it's supposed to be "WILD".
It's eerie... i wanna cry and tend to be paranoid when i saw lizard.
Anyway, they served good food. It's all barbequed food such as chicken or fish. They would barbequed right infront of you and serve them fresh. You can had a few prawns, your own choice of pasta, salad, fries or any other.
The best thing over here is that you don't have to pay for their sauce.
I dislike lamb sausage but they just like it. I find a smell in it, therefore i gave my share to Chris.
Below is the information for jetskiing and seaplane. You can made you bookings by making calls to them. They should be happy to serve you. It's expensive but it's worth the money.
Just take a look at parasailing, it something Singapore is unable to do so. I don't care if Singapore is going to charge a great price to that. That's not under my considerations at all. The worst is that Singapore doesn't have wind that is strong enough for you to fly. The consequence to parasail in Singapore could be serious as you know, Singapore has got no wind.
Lao niang stand in the middle of a big open field could hardly feel any wind blowing through and through. That explain the bad weather recently. Tsk tsk.
It's finally the time to bid good bye to this island.
I had some coffee on my journey back and took a nap for a short period.
Oh ya, that's the cabin. I did not manage to capture all the areas, but i'm at the dining area with tables and comfy seats. If you were to walked further up, you might see sofa etc.
We're finally back ar our hotel. We had some refreshment before we went out for night market before. Like what i've said in my previous post, their night markets were seasonal which means that they can chose to or not to operate anytime they want.
Furthermore it's winter season, it's really hard to know if they are opened or not. Therefore we gonna make a trip to the beach.
Off we go...
Hurray, they are opened.
Well, they are just like our pasar malam. The only differences is that they don't really sell burgers, popcorns and tees. In fact, they are selling handicraft. You can definitely make a trip there and get something really nice for your family.
But i've got some little warnings for you...
Not to worry, they aren't going to rob your money. It's just that their stuffs are really expensive. I bought some macadamia nuts for my friend. Wanna make a guess how much the small little packet cost?
18 bucks and it's only half of my laptop size packet.
It's really interesting. Look at the picture above, they even got fortune teller sitting by the road side. For you extra information, these fortune teller has got assistant. Their assistant is just like their so called secretary. Every customer approached, they might just made a booking for you.
Isn't that cool?
Look at the picture below.
They even sell artistic frames. Well, these aren't machine-made. It's all handricraft.
The next interesting part i've seen it another type of fortune reading.
What so interesting about that?
Nah, they don't read through palm, not through face.
How they read then?
They read through eyes
Oh my god, i'm so stunned by that.
They are also selling vintage stuffs from the 60s, 70s, or even 80s.
They even provide moon viewing services. You gonna made a payment of 10 bucks, they will then allowed you to view the moon using the telescope.
Nah, i'm fine with giving moon viewing a missed. It's nothing interesting to me, i'm not a kid anymore.
Oh btw, did i mention something super great to you?
I saw a dog.
You must be thinking, dog only mah isn't it!!!
Nah, it's god damn freaking big dog.
I'm still searching for a clearer picture and will post up as soon as i've found it. If you were to think that i'm exagerating, you gonna regret for it.
A dog of my size when it's on 4 legs, or should i say twice my size.
A dog which is taller than Chris 1.5 times when he stood on 2 legs.
You're not going to believe your eyes man. I'm serious.
It's dinner time again.
You people sure thought that everything in Australia gonna be very "IN". Aiyah, that's all bullshit. I find GC kind of vintage vintage old old country side culture.
Why is that so?
You don't really see people going yo-yo around. In fact they listen to oldies and seems to be very sentimental.
Look at their restaurant. It's all filled with their family photos. Look at the design and everything, it's totally not our time.
We ordered a ham and pineapple pizza with a carbonara.
Ooh hoo, it's really a great portion.
I shall save my saliva and let the pictures tell you more.
We packed back since we couldn't finish our food. Anyway, no plastic bags as usual. It simply made us look like some delivery man if we were to be in Sinagpore. But it's really common out there.
I simply love their street, it's always filled with joy and music. Look at the picture below, it's common to see passer by teasing the performers.
We even saw a dude telling the performer(below) that his bow was not done properly. It's really great and funny. Performer would be dancing and singing in the middle of the street or probably be selling his personal cd.
Alright, shall go for Jackpot now and sleep early (",)
Nights nights (",)
